Wow, what a neat place. Very private, relaxing and peaceful! I do wished we could have stayed at least two nights. We had the whole place to ourselves, but I do feel like if the other treehouse were rented it definitely wouldn’t have been as private. I do wished there was a little more to the kitchen area/bar inside the place, like water bottles and ice. We brought our own coffee creamer but there were no coffee pods in our place. Host was very quick to respond to my message and allowed us into one of the other places to grab some. Room was very cozy and spacious for a night away. I wasn’t crazy about having to go outside to another building to shower and use the restroom but they were very clean and nice. Just makes it difficult when you have to get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. Overall, great place and would definitely stay again. My husband fell in love with the grounds, placement of the games (corn hole and pickleball) and just the beauty!

The home was quiet and quaint. The location was great for walking to the town square and was easily located to get on the highways. The host was amazing and very responsive to our questions. I would definitely book with them again.

We loved the tree house , perfect to just rent one at a time or a group of people in all of them. It’s very peaceful and quite just like we were looking for. Jaci had very clear instructions and made everything very easy ! :)

This was a really cool place to spend a couple of nights. I was a little concerned about the bath house concept but the bathroom and shower were really nice.

This is an adorable classic home updated with beautiful modern amenities. Very clean and welcoming the moment you open the front door. Just blocks from charming downtown Decatur. The primary bedroom is very spacious, and the secondary bedroom, while inventively accommodating to children, was very comfortable to my adult son. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Our stay was nothing short of amazing! We wanted a quick small private getaway before our busy schedules the next few months and this was just perfect. Town was right around the corner and the coffee spots were super tasty and the food was delicious! We will definitely be returning and recommending to friends!

We had a amazing time with the family, lots to do, I came with 2 little girls they where able to play lots of board games and they played the Xbox for hours in there room, we BBQ and went kayaking. It was so peaceful!! Had everything we needed definitely worth the stay

Spacious and clean house, perfect for our stay. Kids enjoyed the pool and having two living rooms was fantastic for our group. Very large master. We will be renting here again in future years.

We all truly enjoyed our stay at 4Forty4 cabins in Decatur/Alvord Texas. We also loved the Wise county Park beach over in Chico, Texas. Even though it was hot weather, the breeze off the lake made for a perfect relaxing day at the beach. I recommend a pop-up tent and a cooler for drinks. The water was pretty clear for a lake. Boating would have been fun also or paddle boarding. Our family enjoyed the time swimming and cooling off while the kids made sand figures. The cabins here were very comfortable and the natural habitat was peaceful. We saw deer, all kinds of birds, roadrunners, jack rabbits, and armadillos. It was a great country experience away from the city!

A nicely interior decorated lake house that is perfect for a family gathering. We took two couples and three young children and the house was great. You have to check-in through a third party app that I don't care for in the era of constant scams. However, I understand some management companies use. The only reason this location looses a star is that the deck needs to be repainted and the hot tub was not functioning. The rest of the house was perfect including the small gaming barn with figer shuffleboard. The only other thing I would note is that you have to take a very bumpy dirt road about two miles to get to the house. If you are planning to make multiple trips out of the property it gets tiresome. Also, Google maps will try and take you the wrong way to the property. Ask the host for directions.
